Biases: I personally believe this duo is the tightest female R&B duo of the 90's. People Who Should Dig It: En Vogue, Brownestone, Mint Condition and Lucy Pearl fans, people who like love ballads, anyone who saw their makeshift concert on BET (back when it was somewhat black) a few years back, people who love a good mix of upbeat and slow songs, jazz music fans, and people who like two part- harmony. People Who Should Approach With Caution: This is actually a pretty safe buy if you listen to R&B. People Who Should Stay Away: Anyone who can't get into neo- soul music. The Breakdown: So what they did this entire album over the course of a weekend. They pulled it of. So what they don't have the typical R&B "look". They're still beautiful sisters. So what they don't have the typical R&B songs. Their shit is hot. So what they didn't have a bunch of guests on their debut LP. Because it all boils down to the fact the album is off da hook. If you already have this LP, chances are you're already a believer. If you haven't, you need to get out of the matrix and experience this one. I ain't even gonna get into the classic cuts on this one. If ya have it, play it. If ya don't, cop it!! Truly a classic in the annals of R&B music folks. My only question is: When the hell are they gonna do another album?!
