Ghetto Spider-man

(Dedicated to my childhood hero, Spider-Man.)

Spider-Man is someone to whom I greatly relate, yo
‘Cause when danger approaches,
we feel the sixth sense tingle
And when J. Jonah Jameson talks shit about him
in the newspaper
That’s similar to Drew’s haters
I swing through the city straight stopping crooks
Electro, Rhino, Kraven, Dr. Octopus
The danger is great and my enemies foul
But I take pictures of them villains to remember their styles
Hobgoblin and Venom; non-stop, I’m in ‘em
Player-haters who spread rumors,
I lace ‘em with my web fluid
There’s even this insane varmint named Carnage
Who bit my whole style on some fraudulence,
but he forgot who the Don is
Could use my powers for evil,
but naw, that isn’t me
Because “with great power comes great responsibility”
And sometimes being Spidey can be very painful
But that’s when I get to go home
and hit the Mary Jane, yo..
Swinging through a hood near you, I’ll be damned
It’s your friendly neighborhood ghetto-assed Spider-Man.
